There wasn’t really a business plan when this began. It started simply. A normal kitchen and a lot of things not working out. Cakes that refused to rise mixes that looked perfectly fine on the packaging but somehow never turned out right instructions written like you already knew the steps they’d conveniently left out.

At some point we just stopped thinking it was us messing up every time. We thought, it’s actually the product thats the problem not the person using it. That thought is much where Heavenly Delights came from.

People tend to blame themselves when baking goes wrong. Truth is, most of the time thats not fair to them all. It’s usually the mix or instructions that skip important details or ingredients that just don’t behave the way they’re supposed to. So of complaining about it forever we figured we’d try fixing it ourselves.

We took our time with it too. A bunch of versions got tested and thrown straight in the bin because they simply weren’t good enough. Which honestly felt fine. That than handing someone a product that fails them halfway through baking something they were excited about.

What we landed on eventually is a set of baking essentials built around one idea really. Things should just work, consistently every time you use them. Doesn’t matter if baking is nature to you or you’re still figuring out which bowl to use first that consistency matters the same either way.

Nothing about that has really changed as we’ve grown either. Every product still goes through less the same cycle. Test it tweak it test it again and adjust based on what people actually tell us once they’ve used it in their own kitchens.

We’re not here trying to make baking complicated or turn it into some big elaborate thing. We just want it to feel a bit less like a gamble and honestly more fun than stressful.

This whole thing is still very much a work in progress. New ideas get tested constantly feedback gets. Actually taken seriously. Probably more than any actual planning we’ve done has shaped things.
